FOOD & DRINK APPLICATION
We are currently accepting Food Vendor applications for the 2027 Chippewa Valley Air Show. We're looking for vendors to serve 45,000+ attendees across June 11th, 12th, and 13th on the CVAS27 Grounds.
VENDOR TYPES
ZONE PLACEMENT
The CVAS27 Grounds features two vendor zones, each offering a different level of exposure and attendee traffic.
- Highest all day attendee traffic
- Closest to flight line visibility
- Expect on-going, peak traffic between 11am-3pm
- Best for: High-volume food trucks, concessions vendors, snack carts, and drink stands
- Steady attendee traffic
- Near primary Static Aircraft Displays, Grounds Displays, Exhibitors, and Sponsor Activations
- Closest to Main Entrance
- Expect peak traffic between 11am-1pm
- Best for: Lower-volume food trucks, snack carts, drink stands, and specialty treats
IMPORTANT INFO
Expect 45,000+ attendees across three days. Friday is a Practice Day with estimated attendance of 5,000 or less.
Vendors are expected to be fully operational, serving attendees during all CVAS27 Grounds Hours:
Friday Practice Day, June 11th: 11am-4:30pm
Saturday Air Show, June 12th: 9am-5pm
Sunday Air Show, June 13th: 9am-5pm
- Concessions Vendors are expected to be fully self-sufficient.
- Personal generators will be allowed. CVAS will NOT provide power.
- Limited Generators, WIFI, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Water, Ice, and other rental services will be available for a fee. Submit your request early.
- Limited Backstock Refrigeration will be available. Submit your request early.
- Health Department permits and insurance required.
- Scheduled inspections should take place on Friday, June 11th, prior to Gates opening.
- Food Trucks will need to submit proof of valid licenses, permits, and inspections to be in compliance and bypass this process.

- Food Truck License / Transient Food Permit issued by Eau Claire City-County Health Department
- Health Department Inspection (scheduled for Friday Practice Day)
- Fire Department Annual Permit
- Fire Department Inspection (scheduled for Friday Practice Day)
- Kitchen Hood Ventilation and Suppression System, if required (required for any food truck whose cooking produces grease laden vapors from fryers, grills, or griddles)

- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis
- You will receive a confirmation email after submission
- The CVAS team will follow up within 2-3 weeks
- Vendor selection is based on menu variety, logistics, and availability
